Our journey to Vegan Indian started when we moved to Amsterdam. Being an amazing place with such wonderful people of diverse culture , we couldn’t find any vegan food restaurants from Indian kitchen. India has great variety of food , so we decided to bring the Vegan food from our Indian Kitchens to beautiful city of Amsterdam. Today ,the needs and wants of customers are changing, as well as the way they buy food as increasing number of vegetarians and vegans, and an increasing demand for gluten free meals and more information about the source of the food we eat. The Vegan Indian is trying to meet customers desires by providing healthy and high quality food. The restaurant transparently sources its products based on locality, seasonality and trustworthiness of suppliers. The restaurants day to day practices are focused on sustainability. In order to achieve a high level of sustainability procedures such as recycling, water restrictors on taps and toilets and managed waste reduction are all implemented. Among the reasons why people come to the Vegan Indian are locality, a sustained high standard of quality ingredients, (e.g. locally sourced fresh ingredients) choice, staff , a relaxed and welcoming place to eat with great taste.!
